About the Event
Boy Scout Troop #225 will present American Flags flown throughout the history of
the nation, and then burn damaged old flags according to a long-held tradition of flag disposal.
Members of the Glenwood Springs Elks Lodge 2286 will moderate the ceremony. Veterans and active
military personnel will be honored and thanked for their service.
